About PuzzleKick

PuzzleKick is a small, independent site that makes free printable puzzles: word searches by theme, crossword puzzles, bingo cards with a caller’s list, sudoku from very easy to medium, large print editions for easier reading, and makers for your own word searches and bingo cards.

Every puzzle is generated by our own puzzle engine and checked automatically before each update: each listed word really is in the grid exactly once, every crossword answer and clue number matches its grid, every bingo card is different, every sudoku has exactly one solution that can be reached without guessing, and every answer key matches its puzzle. Pages are laid out to print cleanly on US Letter paper.

How the puzzles are made

Word lists and crossword clues are written for each theme and checked for accuracy before they go live. Grids are built by our own software, which places every word, fills the rest with random letters and then verifies the result. Before each update, every page and every PDF is checked in a real browser on desktop and phone sizes to make sure nothing is cut off, blurry or broken.

Teachers looking for a quick classroom activity, parents keeping kids busy on a rainy afternoon, grown-up puzzle fans who want something harder than the newspaper, and seniors who need bigger letters. Everything is free to print for personal, classroom and group use.
